Even though summer is just around the corner, for some reason, I’ve started wearing a lot of black again…

You may have heard of coolster and Brooklyn based Aurora James, but if not, she’s one to watch. Aurora is the creative director of the shoe and bag brand BROTHER VELLIES (praised by none other then Anna Wintour and Kanye West), built on a desire to introduce the world to her favorite African footwear. The really interesting part about this brand is that the accessories are also hand made in the continent, providing jobs for the locals and creating a sustainable way of life.
When I first saw a picture of the shoes above on Aurora’s Instagram-account, it was a shoe crush from the get-go. And when you are also supporting a good cause by purchasing them, that’s when it becomes really tricky to stop yourself from clicking them home.

Thursday evening my go-to nail technician girls from LET’S TALK NAILS held a brilliant girls night event at NEBBIOLO WINEBAR, with clothes displayed by REVE NO1. The concept was brilliant: Come get your nails done while enjoying delicious tapas and bubbles.
I decided to go sort of simple with the CND Shellac, choosing a nude/pink color called ‘Bare Chemise’ as the base, with a contrast of ‘Bicycle Yellow’-line on two of the nails, to give them a little extra somethin’ somethin’. I really like the outcome and love when the nails get a personal touch.
The price for the nails is only 350 and CND Shellac color lasts for about 2-3 weeks.
I’ve said it before and I’m gonna say it again – LET’S TALK NAILS is the only nail technician firm in Denmark that drives out to you whether you’re at work, at home or a third place. And if you’re a busy bee it’s an excellent way to spoil yourself and make sure your nails are on fleek.
The thing I like about these jeans are the super soft fabric (that basically feels like wearing sweatpants), the wash and the straight-leg fit. For me, these are the perfect everyday jeans that can be styled with everything and they are so comfy that I use them for slouching around at home as well – win, win!
The sun is finally here in Copenhagen and you can really feel the vibrant city again with people coming out of their hibernation. Even though it’s still cold you can’t help being outside and feeling the sun in your face – at least I can’t.
One of my favorite winter uniforms is layering and that’s something I use a lot to keep warm and cool 😉
Sometimes I really like going bananas with all sorts of different styles, in this incident mixing cowboy boots, wide pants, pleated skirt, military-inspired shirt and a banger fur. It doesn’t really make any sense, but then again, when the colors are kept low key and details, like stripes, are recurring, it suddenly makes sense to me and gives the look a very personal touch.

I’ve been waiting for a looong time and finally it’s here. The camouflage jacket from JULIE FAGERHOLT HEARTMADE! I have a seriously soft spot for camouflage and when I saw this jacket in our showroom a half year ago, I knew that it would be a favorite of mine.
One of the many cool things about it is that it can be worn now as alternative for a blazer indoors and for summer I can wear it as a jacket. I really like the metallic trim decoration (a Heartmade signature detail), which gives the jacket a feminine touch.
It is available on our onlineshop, but be quick if you want it – there’s only a few left.
